Hey, I'm Cole.
My name is Cole Russo, I am a Photographer and Director of Photography (DoP) based out of Los Angeles, California.
With a dynamic background that includes experience as a 1st Assistant Camera, 2nd Assistant Camera, Gaffer, and Production Assistant, I have gained invaluable knowledge throughout my career that has advanced my understanding of the art and science of cinematography.
One of the key skills I have honed is the ability to communicate effectively with crew members, whether on or off-set. By understanding the inner workings of each job, I am able to effectively delegate tasks to my team members with clear expectations, which ultimately results in a smoother and more productive production process.
Additionally, I approach my work with a technical eye, consistently applying creative problem-solving and taking initiative to achieve the desired vision.
My passion for visual storytelling is evident in the meticulous attention to detail that I bring to every project. Drawing on my background in film and digital photography, I have developed a keen sense of composition, framing, and lighting that allows me to craft compelling, visually stunning scenes.
